I think it makes the film both more epic and campy. A few of the songs are just straight up 80's pop.

I listen to almost everything except, All the club remix, bass stuff and screemo(this includes anything close to it), just don't see the point of it.

Screamo can be lovely. Circle Takes The Square is quite lovely.

Never was a big fan of screamo, mostly because: A. I can't understand what they're saying, or B. It's just plain annoying.

But hell, to each is his own, man.

Honestly, I probably don't know the lyrics to most of the stuff I listen to. They're just not very important to me. And most of the stuff I listen to, the vocals are like an instrument. They are used in the best way to compliment the music. If that's screaming, growling, or beautiful clean singing, so be it. Add to the song with vocals, don't focus on them.

By the way; Check out the "come reap" album by The Devil's Blood... It's good. But there's a good chance you've already heard of them

You know, I really dig Acid King, but it seems to me that they don't get a lot of recognition in the metal circles.
