No. A lot sillier and a lot more stupidly controversial was the "original" version of this, and it was also a lot older than Texas Chain-Saw. The "original" came out in the early 60s, whereas this one is the late 80s.

| Erotic Horror is a genre title that has always stumped me. I guess I know why they call it that, but my brain doesn't seem to compute the fact that when its used it doesn't always indicate that the viewers found it erotic in the end. At least I hope not, because I first heard it from a group of people referring to I Spit on your Grave. I also heard it thrown around over "The Possession." I can understand the latter more, looking at certain Hentai markets though. I'm overanalyzing this aren't I. Anyways I have no clue as of right now. Also, which Toxic Avenger flick is that avatar from? I don't remember that scene, then again my memory is 5 minutes long so *shrug.* I think it's the fingers grasping for the stump at the end that make me want to jog my memory though, lol. I love the little details. | |

| I hope we get another image soon. This one is bugging me. I know that image, but cannot for the life of me remember what it is from.
I have to agree that the clue "erotic horror" isn't much of a clue. Lots of horror films have erotic elements "Lair Of The White Worm", and "The Hunger" to name a couple.
Being French does help a bit more.

Judging by the fact that searching his name and a few of his movie titles through an image search (Also I think it's funny how turning the safesearch to strict so you can actually find the screenshots he'd be allowed to post on these forums still manages to get lots of NSFW in) I'm not entirely sure it is a Rollin. Also the second screenshot is damn familiar and I have not seen any of Rollin's pictures. I could be wrong but *shrug*

| The director did only like 4 movies in the beginning of his career and then went on to do tv movies and tv shows. (as far as I know) "edit: to get things moving along here is another tip! It has a Mondo Macabro release. | |

| Let me just say one thing...
D'OH.
That one crossed my mind, but then I ruled it out. *facepalm* My wife is laughing at me right now, she got it immediately but as Son of Jack Deth pointed out it'd kind of be unfair to use her guesses as my own.

| That's simultaneously familiar and completely unknown to me.
Is it just sepia toned, or is it an older picture?

Is it just sepia toned, or is it an older picture? It's a sepia scene from an otherwise color film.

| I have absolutely no clue. Looks to me like it has something to do with witches, but that's a fairly vague lead in my mind. Plus trying to google "Movies with a witch and a sepia toned scene" just brings up a bazillion pages on good ol' Wizard of Oz.
Any hints? | |
