| Figured I'd make the first thread on this subforum about my favorite hobby: Film. The last one I saw was Freaks in my Horror film class...loved it. So damn good. In the process of watching Spirited Away, so far so good, of course. | |

| Last movie I saw in the theater was "The Green Hornet", which I actually enjoyed. I knew nothing of The Green Hornet before the film, so that's probably why I didn't think it was too bad.
I've had the sudden urge to watch "The Neverending Story" for some reason. I am five minutes into it right now.

| I just saw 1987's Predator and this past summer's Predators. Though different in plot, they are greatly similar in suspense and action. Both films also have some of the best fight scenes and explosions ever shown on film!
I actually love Alien Vs. Predator because it's supposed to be a fun ride and not meant to be taken seriously. Plus watching two different alien creatures beating the crap out of each other really brought out the kid in me!

| I think the last movie I watched was, appropriately, The Big Lebowski. | |

| The last new movie I saw was "The Green Hornet," and it was shockingly good. Far better than I thought it'd be.
The last movie I've seen, however, was a re-watch of "King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters"

But I'm guessing the guy who played Kato is still no Bruce Lee.

| At home: Caligula - Just got the Imperial Edition from Amazon today, and I'm lovin' it.
In theaters: Black Swan - Even though I had heard beforehand that this was a good movie, I was surprised how much I actually enjoyed it. One of the best of 2010, easily.

I also really liked Black Swan, with exception to the ending. I didn't like it as much as True Grit, but it can definitely hang with the best of 2010.

| Let's see, I think it was Faster. Didn't have time to see anything else. Pretty decent for a Dwayne Johnson flick, but hell, I really love the Rock, so by my standards he can do no wrong(yes I know Disney movies, but they were really funny, not intentionally though, but still). | |

I remember I was always more of a Steve Austin fan as a kid...

| I am an Austin fan as well. I have followed his movie carrier pretty closely. He has pretty watchable movies and actually does a pretty good job at acting. I kinda enjoyed his Rambo/Commando rip-off movie Hunt to Kill. | |

I never saw it, but you did say it was a Steve Austin/Commando/Rambo knockoff, so what's not to love?

| Black Swan, for the third time, in theatres. To be honest, I wouldn't mind seeing it again. I love that movie. | |

| I just rewatched Bande à Part. What a great, bizarre, hysterical, suspenseful movie. The last new (to me, anyway) movie I saw was Reservoir Dogs, which ended way too soon. I wouldn't have minded another hour. | |

Good movie, but not truly great, in my opinion.

Good movie, but not truly great, in my opinion. It's not perfect, but it's got incredible cinematography and direction that also happens to be the style I love. It also benefits greatly from being rewatched, in a good way.
