Was the first movie a big enough success to warrant a sequel? I thought the first one was meh, not bad but not great. But the idea of the movie was good.

i still haven't seen the 1st one. but if they make the film something else than a house invasion film, ,which is why i'm not seeking it out. i'm frankly tired of that genre. than i think this may be maybe good?

OK, now I think I may want to see this movie. Seems more of an action film this time around.
