oh ok, my apologies. i remember when Dead Alive came to VHS back in the early 90's. funny story is my brother was working i believe at a video store i think at the time. or he got it somehow? anyways it was the screener version of it. on VHS. and i recall i was told by him that i was too young for it. well at the time. i still haven't seen it and it's not because of that. cause i'm clearly of age now. i just haven't gotten around to it.
i did see 'the frightners' in the theatre back in (1996) i went with my aunt actually. and i loved it. i still enjoy the film. but i believe Josh has said on numerous occasions that the original version of it was much darker than the one that was released. i am curious to see that actually.
what did you think of King Kong? i thought it was a good movie. i dunno if it was as good as to get nominated though. it was far too damn long. the fight scene with Kong and the dinosaur was far to damn long as well. and there are some shots where it just shows Kong just sitting there that could have been shortened. in short the film was far longer than it needed to be. and the lovely bones wasn't lovely at all but a terrible piece of shit. the premise i think was great. and the idea was a great and original one. but the result was a piece of shit. Stanley Tucci though was great in it as the killer.

the only 2 peter jackson movies i remember are dead alive and bad taste. I still saw King Kong back when I was a lot younger (and I know it is the 2005 version, because Jack Black and not giant B/W King Kong). But i do remember that king kong didn't feel that long, even though now that i reflect on the idea of a King Kong remake being as long as a LotR movie, WHO THE HELL DEMANDED A 3 HOUR KING KONG MOVIE/REMAKE!? It just sounds just as necessary as a 4 hour version of a Clockwork Orange (which was the first cut, so i heard from imdb) and a 3 hour version of Cheap. If I were to watch it now, the 3 hour length may piss me off, but I just feel the idea seems silly, especially how the original didn't even pass 2 hours (never saw the original).
As for Cheap and Clockwork Orange, they could be pretty good Snob episodes (this is still a suggestion thread after all), even though he may either not do Cheap or do it for a 300th episode (or something of the sort).
And as for the lovely bones, never seen it, and i do not plan to see it anytime soon.

your smart not to see Lovely bones, i remember seeing on IMDB before it started filming. and i read what it's about and it sounded like a damn good idea and i was dying to see it. i'm glad i didn't buy it. i downloaded it when it 1st came out. and i'm glad i didn't spend any kind of money on it. this was back when i used to go after new films in the theatre. mind you. anyways i think i'd love to see a 4 hr cut of a Clockwork Orange, i agree that is far to long but if that's true than i wish that would be released. one thing about Kubrick that i'd love it if someone had beat him over the head with a baseball bat
about is to at some point with the invention of laser disc, and dvd's and after he died blu-ray's is to include fucking deleted scenes! like i'd LOVE To see the deleted scenes for The Shining. if they aren't inserted back in the i can make my own cut and watch that. but i wish he'd well his family anyways, would do a release in (2015) and put those scenes on that set that is no doubt going to come out for the 35th anniversary.
anyways i agree King Kong well it wasn't a terrible film i don't think, i thought it was a good film. but it was just way too damn long that's all. i've never seen the extended cut to be honest. and i've only seen the film once and that was in the theatre. but it didn't need to be as long as it was. if it was based off a book maybe, but as far as i know it wasnt' based off jack shit.

That would be pretty fun if he did the sequels too. If he made it through the SLEEPAWAY CAMP series he should have no problem with these lol.

Too well-known maybe? That movie is something else; iirc Cosby himself told people not to watch it....while he was promoting it.

It would be more better suited, I think, if the Cos had thrown his full support behind it.

Ninja III: The Domination from 1984, it's such a great movie with material to make fun off, I'd love to see Brad tear it apart, I think it could be such an amazing review if done correctly.
I know Mike from AVGN did a short review of it but he hardly did it any justice, theres so much much to talk about. The idea that we should feel bad for a cop killer is amazing.
Please please please.

F.A.R.T. The Movie
I remember seeing this movie for sale in the Funny Side Up catalog when I was a kid, and it always got my attention, not because I was at the "Farts are funny" age, but I was just curious, "With a title like that, what could this movie possibly be about?
