Most Expensive PSP Movie Ever Empty
PostSubject: Most Expensive PSP Movie Ever   Most Expensive PSP Movie Ever EmptySun Oct 07, 2012 10:58 pm

Does any body remember UMDs (Universal Movie Disc) for the PlayStation Portable?
They are like DVDs but even smaller in a plastic case (even smaller than the Nintendo Game Cube game discs).
I was on Amazon and found what appears to be the most expensive UMD I've ever seen.
It's the first volume of the anime series "Ikki Tousen".
You won't believe the price they're asking for on the website.
Would you or anybody else want to spent your hard earned cash of something like this?
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000EJ9V8Y/animenewsnetw-20

PS, I already bought this UMD last year for only $5 new.
I still have it unopened and sealed in plastic.
What the fuck are they thinking trying to sell it used for a mind-blowing price like this?
It makes "Action 52" for the NES look like a cheap-ass dollar store item.

lol...now that's a bargain.
Using my PSP now for 7-8 years and never bought a Video-UMD. Sony was giving away Spider-Man 2, when the system came out in Germany, but you had to register with your european serial no. and I had a japanese PSP off Ebay.
And to answer your question: No, i wouldn't spend my money on it. I liked Ikki Tousen when I watched it fansubbed, but it was nothing I would wanna keep on my shelf.

UMD was a good idea to a certain point, but you just can't think that something like that will last, if you can just as easily convert your own movies.
