So what do you guys and gals do?...

When you do not watch movies?

I know this website is all about the movies and I do love watching some movies as well, even though I don't do it that much anymore, but I'm interested in knowing what you guys and gals do when you do not watch and talk about movies!

Let me do it first.

I'm big on fitness. I work out on average 15/20 hours a week. That includes cardiovascular work, muscular work and various martial arts/combat systems practice like Tai Chi and Krav Maga. Now, let me assure everyone here that I am not one of those douchebags! I've started being so active only about 2 years ago. Before that I was mostly an intellectual and I still am! I read lots of books, mostly about science and I got back into studying a year ago. I'd like to either become a personal trainer, work in the AI development field or work on developing new energy production technologies. I guess we'll see.

But Bruce Lee did it for me, he inspired me to live a more balanced life, work on my body as much as my brains. He was a great man.




So? what about you guys?

Well i work full time at a gift shop on a beach here in San Jaun Puerto rico. I go to the gym usally after work or sometimes b4 it(depending on which shift i get). Its a great job as im right there on the beach and sometimes i will spend sometime there after work. I am a fan of videos though for awhile i kinda stopped keeping track of what games are coming out though since i moved in with my roomate ive been sorta getting back into video games again. I enjoy reading my favorite author of all time is HP.Lovecraft. I used to take tai kwon do lessons for two years(2008-2009) until the school where i went closed down. I still practice it from time to time. I used to sick for a bunch of random local bands throughout my life. Right now im strarting and AMbient music project under the name Natassja where i play guitar drums ,keys and vocals. So far i only recorded one song and i have yet to release it or upload it on anything. still debating whether or not im gonna continue this project as it was just something i did one night where i couldn't sleep at all. And last of alll i draw. I love drawing all kinds of things such as anime art,famous horror chracters or just radnom stuff(i once drew my roomates cat lol).

I used to compose music myself. I did so for about 10 years! I stopped about 2 or three years ago though because I grew sick of it and it was taking way too much of my time. It's a difficult thing to make music. To get it right where you want, in the mixing stage anyway, was the real difficult part for me and it just got too much. I used to, you guessed it, produce dub but then in the end I was making ambient music and drone. I love drones.

Nah my artwork isnt uploaded on the internet yet. I might upload it if i make a google+ account(i have a facebook but im almst never on it because ive gotten so much drama and pervs on that site). And yeah making music is a long and diffcult process. That one song i composed took me several hours. It was just somethng i decided to do on night when my insomnia hit me hard and i had no reason to really try to fall alseep(had no work the next day). I hop to do more songs as this Natassja character but not sure when if ever.

Well Angie, if you ever do upload that song you did, I'd be glad to listen to it as I am a dark ambient afficionado! Make sure you notify me if you do. I lost most of the material I composed back then in a stupid hardware accident... basically, the usb key I needed to unlock the software I was using to make music got broken inside my usb port so I was unable to open the software from that moment on. Very stupid. Thankfully, I had decided to stop making music before that happened. Still, it would have been nice to keep all this music ( I had about three albums worth of it ) so I could listen to it in the future you know?

Yeah i wish i kept track of some of the bands i sang for. most of them didnt do anything but i did get pay a few shows with the classic rock band(called Hot Tea) i as in towards then end of high school.WIsh i knew where my demo was. oh and if u want to hear my song it is saved on my computer if u want i can email it to u.

I'm just an artist and musician that makes bizarre, dreamy, or/and scary stuff. Started an idie dark ambient band with a guy back in April of 2008 and released two albums worth of dark ambient music. I eventually disbanded that project to found a circus metal band, but that one never got off it's feet. The four of us split and I devote all my music to my solo act now. I make experimental music now. Figured It's best to branch out and learn as much about different types of music as I can. I also have a rather nice sized collection of 2D and 3D art in my hands that I've made over the years.

Other than that, I'm just your average run-of-the-mill madwoman. I've had a wonderful boyfriend, (whom is in college to become a psychotherapist), for two years and counting. I spend the time I'm not creating by serving as a quasi-therapist for Transgender people, abuse victims, and/or paraphiliacs seeking to remain respectable, non-malicious members of society. (IE: Help keep rape fetishists from raping... or at least try to.) I have a lot of empathy and a twisted sense of humor, so I'm quite hard to sicken.

I do community theatre a lot, it's been my passion since I was 15.

I work as a janitor at a Hanaford. Im also a student at the 4 year university known as Mountain Saint Marys. Im a huge metalhead and i love attending shows. i play drums but i am not currently in a band .Though i do not perform live music i do perform in improv comedy shows.

I play drums. I had a band with my friends few years ago, but after we went seperate ways my interest in playing has slowly kinda died down :/ It's hard to find fellow musicians to play with in a small town and playing by yourself all the time gets a bit dull eventually. Lately I've been more and more interested in making indie films.

This year I've applied to different universities, although I probably won't get in since i got a bit lazy when studying for the entrance exams (is that the right term?) after i got out of the army in January. I'm still quite unsure about my career choice.

Just your average film buff college student, working his nights away pre-Clerks Kevin Smith style.  I love film and I'm slowly immersing myself in Exploitation film, courtesy of Radiodrome, as well as some video games via Steam.  I try my best to see as many movies as I can and have a whole organized movies-to-see check list that I constantly edit for neatness and OCD reasons.  Eh, call it a quirk.  That's me in a brief, forum-worthy nutshell.

Oh cool.  I have OCD as well so i know how that feels. I always leave the slips on on dvds that havethat extra slip cover and i will fix it as soonas i can if someone puts the dvds back in a boxset in the wrong order.

I work at a very small, semirural newspaper; I suppose my job title would be "editorial assistant".
In my spare time I like to read, crochet, watch Food Network, and of course, divulge in z-grade sleazy cinema.

What do I do whenever I don't watch movies?...

Creating art stuff (drawing, painting, digital art...), drinking a lot of tea, going to work, working, reading, playing video games, playing some guitar, visiting websites, strolling in forests and along waterscapes if possible. That's mostly it. I would like to meet my friends more often but they live too far away.

Currently? Working 12 hour shifts, going home and going to bed. Making mad bank, but everything else suffers as a result.

When I am on a normal 8 hour shift, I like retro games. I've got quite a large collection of Genesis/Mega Drive and Master System games. I've never been a Nintendo fan... Other than that I play guitar, or at least attempt to. I do a lot of reading, novels and comics (just look at my avatar). I go to the occasional punk/ska show in Chicago when I can. When it's quiet alone time I paint my Warhammer miniatures.

High school, watch movies (good and shitty), write scripts, feel some dislike for my generation, and hope to get a job that pays enough to live and occasionally spoil myself with Five Guys and the occasional convention (I've actually never been to a con D:)

Even though I'm on break, so I'm just being really fucking lazy right now XD
