Thoughts on Caligula (100th Episode)

The Snob's two-part review of Caligula is one of the very best episodes in the entire series. Any thoughts on it?

What makes it great is that Brad was reviewing his favorite movie as the Snob by mentioning all the things that made the movie controversial. Also, the use of many personalities from TGWTG added well to the surprises. Spoony's cameo is pure gold! It's also surprising that Brad uses his different shows like Kung Tai Ted and Brad and Jerrid... (some of my favorites on the site) to mix in well. Probably the best surprise is the new character of 80s Dan who I think is sort of a cousin to 90s Kid.

My favorite part of the whole review is the use of the "puking" sound effect whenever we see Tiberius' drunk face on screen. It's simple, but made for some really big laughs!

Yeah it is definetly one of my top 10 Cinema Snob episodes. So many great moments, I just wish the video was uncensored.

i really liked this episode, all the cameos were rather entertaining and it was one of my favorite snob episodes

I wish Brad had a members only section for uncensored vids. And no it's not because I want to see ET naked. Already seen that movie.

Very valid, Dr. Prof. He should. Nothing would be the commentary of what he could actually say while there is a fist wrist-deep in the husband of the woman he'd just raped ass.... that sentence shouldn't make sense in any context!

But Caligula is by far in my top 3 favorite movies of all time so I really enjoyed it. Especially Spoony as Caligula, Angry Joe was pretty good too but it's sad that Spoony or Bennet would be the people I see as a reincarnation of Caligula. I'm actually glad that he do it cause I know he likes the movie so it wasn't scathing as "it was a terrible movie that deserves to be erased from the universe."

That was a great 2 parter. I've had Caligula on DVD for years, it's the 2 disc complete uncut edition but until I saw the review, I didn't know there was a 3 disc set. I kind of wonder how long before they bring it out on Blu-Ray, then again I'm not sure if I want to see all of that in 1080p. Also I'm kind of shocked he found a way to get show much of the movie shown because of all the extra nudity that was edited into it. Of course there always was a lot of nudity like originally the scene with all those guys jerking off on that woman was ok with the Tinto Brass.

I wouldn't put it past Cali's Longinus to stab the side of Christ though. Course in that version of the Crucifixion there's an orgy and someone masturbating with the cross.
