Caligula Wars

An alternate Star Wars universe chronicles Anakin's/Darth Vader's life under emperor Sidious and later as the new emperor, with a fallen Luke Skywalker as his apprentice. It has space goats! It has Twyleks! It has all the absurd sexual perversities that Caligula had... and more.

Our main character is a police officer whose name is, let's say, Matt. Matt is an all-around average guy who mostly does desk job and such. He is attracted to a secretary named Anne, but never has the guts to ask her out. He leads very safe life and avoids taking risks. BUT one day Matt is put into a murder case and he gets a reckless new partner named Bruce who doesn't like to follow rules and lives on the razor's edge. O-oh, I wonder how this will turn out?

They think a corrupt local politician, named Victor, who is believed to be associated with a drug cartel, is behind the murder. One night Bruce and Matt sneak to Victor's house, and Bruce wants to break in to search evidence linking him to the murder. Matt however believes they should go through the official channels and get a search warrant. Bruce says "the hell with that" and plunges in, only to get beaten up by Victor's bodyguards.

The next day Matt goes and gets a search warrant, and they find all the evidence they need to convict Victor. Matt continues his safe and risk free life. Once in a while he gives speeches in schools to warn kids from taking unnecessary chanches. Bruce however gets married with Anne, and they move to Beverly Hills.

A genders-reversed remake of THE ARENA starring Idris Elba, Jason Statham, Michael Fassbender, Karl Urban, and ...... uh, what were we talking about again?

Speaking of STAR WARS, if one could go back in time and make the prequels follow the storyline of the FORCE UNLEASHED games instead of the Emo Adventures of Anakin, that would've been pretty sweet.

My creative writing told me about Ezra Pound, or as he called him "The Hannibal Lecter of Poets". He apparently used to be like a go-to poet for poets to show him their work to edit it and stuffs. However, eventually he went to Italy and helped promote fascism, but then he was taken back to America and was going to be killed for treason until he was found out to be mentally ill. So now that he's in a mental asylum and apparently other poets (like, Allen Ginsberg, I think. Who is a Buddhist of Jewish ancestry and he supported NAMBLA) went to him (and apparently Ezra Pound is a misogynistic fascist) to edit their poetry.


This guy could use a movie, especially with Pound editing Ginsberg's poetry.

I definitely would watch a dogma-version of Lord of the Rings. It would be hilarious.

Some years ago I read a book called Charlatan and I always thought there was potential for a great movie there. It tells the story of one John R. Brinkley, one of the more destructive"snake oil salesman" quack doctors of the 1920s. A genius at self-promotion, Brinkley scammed people in a variety of ways but his most notorious "cure" was transplanting goat testicles onto men to fix impotence.This worked about as well as you'd expect. He eventually had his license yanked (after over a decade of this) thanks to the arduous pursuit of the AMA's Morris Fishbein - whom Brinkley then tried, and failed, to sue for libel. Hollywood loves their "based on real events" horror stories and this one's got all kinds of ghastly material to mine. In the hands of somebody like the Coens or Steve McQueen it could be really powerful.









That ARENA remake though. Seriously, somebody needs to get on that.

We need to see a "Terminator" remake filmed totally in the style and time-period (technology-wise) of "Nosforatu".

Also we need a puppet version of the Matrix.

And I would love to see more war and sci fi movies seen from both sides in the same conflict (like with Flag of our Father/Letters from Iwo Jima). Here I would love to see what went into the VC´s head when they attacked Charlie Sheen in Platoon. And what politics did the Predator have and what motivated him to Attack Arnold and his gang in "Predator" (1987). "Avengers" from the viewpoint of the Chitauri.

A better version of the Matrix: It has to take place in the 80s, because that was an awesome decade. Oh wait, there weren't computers in the 80s. Just replace The Matrix with a pair of sweet sunglasses, and uh....replace the Agent Smith with aliens. Yeah, and include a long alleyway fight sequence, sweet one-liners, and cool 80s gunfights!

I don't think this has been made yet.

SAMURAI JACK. But it has to be done in the animation style of the show.

I think some of my top choices would be the PUPPET WARS trilogy, DECAPITRON, JOURNEYS THROUGH THE DARK ZONE, and SUBTERRANEANS, among others.
