I saw the trailer of the "LEGO Movie". The animation looks to be stop-motion with some CGI effects. Kids may seem to enjoy this movie once it comes out in February of next year. For me, personally, it looks like nothing but a commercial. Still, it's a better idea than "Mac & Me".

This could be fun. I used to play with legos all the time as a kid.
And "LEGO BATMAN: THE MOVIE - DC SUPERHEROES UNITE" is actually a really good movie.

I still enjoy playing some of the Lego-Games and the Trailer seems like fun, so why not? I won't be paying money to see this but maybe as a rental or a bootleg...

Honestly, I'm surprised this actually got made. Nearly every year I hear about toys being optioned for movies, but not one of them has ever made it into production...remember plans in the '90s to make a Stretch Armstrong movie starring Danny Devito? Yeah.
It doesn't look terrible, but it doesn't look wholly remarkable, either. Then again, I'm willing to be lenient because I have sympathy for any screenwriter who's tasked to make a movie about Lego, of all things.

I'm assuming it's all CGI, just made to look stop-motion (the animation is a bit more rigid than the Lego cartoon shows on TV). Knowing Hollywood, it wouldn't surprise me.

Can they just make it Lego Batman with that version of the character?
