| Anyone read this? It's a very well-written, humorous, and mysterious look at an alternative universe version of World War I. The difference? The Allied Powers, now "Darwinists", utilize genetically-altered creatures while the Axis Powers, the "Clankers", use gigantic war machines and steampunk technology. The main protagonists are Aleksandir Hapsburg, heir to the throne of Austria-Hungary, and Deryn Sharp, a Scot girl posing as a boy in the British Air Force serving aboard the titular Leviathan. The story's amazing and the book has awesome artwork by Keith Wormwood. If you have any interest in it, check it out. If you have read it, discuss : D No spoilers for " Goliath" please. | |
