well Bowie's best era is (1967-1973) with "Elton John it's (1970-1976) but that doesn't mean each artist hasn't done great material after those years. they have. i just love "Songs from the west coast' the (2001) album that Elton John did. have you heard that one?

see this is the problem i hate it when people say they are die hard fans of say "Elton John' yet they only know the hits. to me that's a casual fan NOT a die hard fan. i'm not saying you are one of these people but i'm just talking about people in general.
i'm one of those people that fucking HATE Greatest hits albums! i NEVER buy them unless it's got 1. unreleased material which sometimes happens. 2. new songs which somtimes happens like in the new "Rolling Stones' greatest hits album to celebrate their 50' years as a band called "Grrr" i believe. or 3. songs that were put out as singles but NOT put out on albums. The beach boys did that, Elton John, Rolling Stones' Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr did that just to name a few.
if the greatest hits has NONE Of this i don't buy it. i prefer listening to their albums because i tend to get tired of their hits. for example i love the band Queen and when it comes to certain songs like "Boheiam Rhapsody" or Bicyle Race or We Will Rock you OR We are the champions. or ABBA with "Dancing Queen' those songs are songs i am so tired of hearing that i just want to fucking scream at the top of my lungs for hours on end.
so i tend to skip those songs when i put their albums they are on. they may be all great songs but it's called over playing and when you hear some songs as much as those songs you don't want to hear them for a long long long long long long ass time. my favorite "ABBA" song isn't even a single it's an album track called "Rock Me' have you heard that one?

Love that song!!
Lately I've been listening to Social Distortion and some old school rockabilly bands
Fun fact: the "Ronnie" of Ronnie & the Red Caps is none other than Ronnie James Dio. He played bass.
