So my first introduction to the Snob was through Spoony's website. When I first watched, I didn't really get that Brad was playing a character, and I kinda thought he was just a jackass.
So my question is, was anyone else and idiot like me?
I'd really like to know if I'm the only stupid one around here or not.

I actually first found Bard's video's via that little "New Video"sidebar on TGWTG.com.
I recall the review for Las Vegas Bloodbath caught my eye, as the title sounded familiar. After watching the review, of course, i realized I must have been thinking of something else, but nevertheless, had found a new favorite e-critic. I then went back and watched all of his back videos, and have watched his programing ever since.

Someone introduced me to him a while back. Maybe 2 years? I dunno, it's been a while. At first, I watched a few videos and didn't care for him. This was back when the only reviewers I really watched were AVGN and Nostalgia Critic. Then after I had finally watched all of Critic's backlog that I hadn't seen I was bored and decided to check Brad out again. The guy who introduced me to him had good taste so I figured it was worth a go. And from that point I really started enjoying him.
Now, to me, he is one of the most consistent reviewers. It's rare when he makes a video I just genuinely don't enjoy. Most other people are incredibly hit or miss for me. Snob usually delivers.

I saw the snob before his big youtube shut down. Then moved on to his site. I love his old videos, he seems very "serial killer-ish" in them.

Haha I know! They feel like you're watching a snuff film or something, a very cool quality to the videos considering what he was reviewing, very apt.

I was introduced to him during the "floor reviews" and didn't immediatelly get that he was doing a character, but it didn't take that long to figure out, especially after going through his Youtube videos and discovering an old Bruno Mattai tribute he did. The character has gotten much more hetrosexual sense then.

I actually found the Snob through Spoony as well...but not in the way you would expect.
It was one of the first times I was in the Spoony Vent chat and someone said I sounded like the Cinema Snob. I had to idea who he was, so I searched out the site, watched a lot of his early stuff, and really got into it.

What? A man wearing a black suit and thick glasses sitting alone on the floor of a barren room talking to a camera about his opinions on different horror and gore films?

First vid I saw was Brazilian Starwars when it was on the new vids list on TGWTGs and I said "Brazilian what?" out loud. I admit it took me about half the video to pick up on that the snob was a character Brad was playing, although I wasnt thinking very straight at the time being I to was being subjected to Brazilian Starwars.

When I first saw one of his vids, I had two thoughts:
1 "Where the fuck does he find these movies?"
2. "Why does this man look like a serial killers from the 70's?"
I figured out he was playing a character by the second vid I watched of his.

First video I ever saw wasn't even a Snob video. It was on TGWTG. Can't remember what section it was under, but it wasn't a featured video. It was the Best Horror Movies of the Decade. Once he mentioned "Session 9", specifically for the epic 'fuck you' that David Caruso delivers (seen below), I said "This guy is pretty cool."

When he's just being himself, he seems to look significantly less like a serial killer.

I've actually been a fan of Brad's since his early days on You Tube. For some reason I was looking up stuff on Joe D'Amato and I came across The Cinema Snob's review on Porno Holocaust. I've been hooked since then. The fact that there was a guy who was not only watching bad movies but really bad obscure movies that no one has heard of. I think the only title I was familiar with that Brad reviewed was Mother's Day.

I came across him before Spoony. I wanted to see footage for Porno Holocaust (I really don't why why I search youtube for it) and his video popped up. However I didn't continue to follow him until Spoony showed him to us.

I believe I first saw one of his earlier vids on youtube, I think it was Porno Holocaust, as I was looking for a trailer of some sorts to show a friend of mine and thought, damn, there's someone else who's watched this shit, and he's made a review. I gotta see this. I have never missed a snob video since. I actually really liked his earlier set-up(bad lightning etc) as it seemed to add to the overall feel of the movies he was reviewing. Thanks for entertaining me Brad
EDIT: Holly crap, Kaneda, were you in my head stealing my thoughts?

I literally discovered The Cinema Snob the week Brad got his YouTube account deactivated. I watched everything on YouTube and then *poof* nothing new and then finally a video posted from him basically explaining what happened. Therefore, I pretty much was exposed to Brad vs The Snob in week one of discovering The Snob.

Same here, I remember when he first started posting in the post your own Reviews section of the TGWTG forums.

I can't remember how I found the Cinema Snob material, but I think it was on the TGWTG site where I saw him first. In fact, I originally thought that HE was TGWTG, since they both wear glasses.
Can't say that I ever thought he was a jackass or anything like that. From memory, the first review I saw was probably "Nudist Colony of the Dead" (I could be wrong), and what was said was pretty close to my thoughts of it, hehe.

Did your opinion include a dancing scene?

Not that I recall.

I actually found out about Brad in an unusual way. I was watching the Kickassia film, and then there was this guy, who's voice was absolutely brilliant, so I checked out he's videos just to listen to him talk, with time I also started to listen what he was talking about and so he became my favorite reviewer on TGWTG now along side with Todd.

Whenever I watch anyone through a camera, I always assume it's a persona. No one wants to look like an idiot in front of a camera, so they invent more entertaining versions of themselves that they think viewers will like. Be it reporters, comedians, reviewers, actors, or hosts. Morgan Webb for instance, We already know she hates the people she entertains. That fake smile and attitude is part of her persona. Or Tommy Wiseau, who I hear fell so far into his persona that he couldn't climb back out.
Jack Nicholson claims he suffered a kind of identity crisis when he played the joker in the beloved Batman movie. I can go on with this. You can even see this from Youtube posters, even the ones who only post one vid and never do it again. Until proven or told otherwise by the person beyond the camera lense, it's good to assume whatever they say isn't really how they feel. =P
As far as Brad goes, I was working myself one at a time through TGWTG rosters, and when I saw Brad's crossover with the critic, my original thoughts were "Oh gawd, I don't think I could listen to that long throat noise more than once in a while. I hope that's not a frequent joke...". So I actually was a little reluctant to watch more. But when I did, I found myself really enjoying his stuff.
