I just rememberd this movie, it camed out in 1991 and the only reason why I remember it because the killer is Tom Villard. The guy who played Profile in Heartbreak Ridge and one of the Stork brothers in One Crazy Summer.

I thought it was a strange guy to be a killer in a horror movie. But it kind of worked out. He was more of a goofy, comic killer.

Could be a fun review.

I love Popcorn. If anyone's interested, it's streaming on Netflix.

I always thought it was interesting that they chose Tom Villard as the villian. The guy who played the geek in so many movies was a geeky killer. And it worked.

Best part of the movie was close to the end. The heroine was on the stage then the killer goes though the crowed doing a speech. He's burned all over his body and in the background someone in the crowd says to the killer, "You are one ugly son of a bitch." At that point Tom Villard gets in his face and says, "Same to ya!"

1stly it's been a LOOOOOOOONG ass time since i last saw this film. it's sad i think that it's one of the lesser known films today. yes die hard horror fans know it. but otherwise it's just one of those films that slips through the cracks.

i'm surprised he hasn't done "Slaughter High" that was a good one where the geek was the killer as well. or
a bad one "Return To Horror High a film that i believe "George Clooney" said he regretted doing. he he.

hey Randy you've done a LOT of film work through the years. what films out of all of your's would you pick for him to do? that includes porn because as you know he reviews bad porn. which ironically is how i discovered him!

i was on the "TMNT" board on IMDB looking up somthing i forget what & someone posted a thread about the TMNT Porn that Brad here reviewed. anyways i'm just curious that's all.
