Official movie suggestion thread

what else has this dude who directed the 1st TMNT film directed anyways? i don't think i've heard of him before.also i got a movie for brad that may not have or it may have been i have no idea been suggested Curtains an old (1983) film from Canada and though it's got it's moment it's pretty bad. i watched it tonight in fact.

'Curtains' has a cult following with slasher fans; I'd be very surprised if Brad hasn't seen it. It's a structural mess, but it's certainly one of the more ambitious films of its ilk...I think it'd make a really good Snob episode.

it has it's moments don't get me wrong, things i liked the doll was creepy as fuck and the mistake was getting rid of it too soon. the film was just plain boring. i'm not the type of guy that gives a shit where things need to happen every second on a film but the film just plain bored me. though John Vernon was fantastic in it though. and the mask was creepy as fuck too! and it had an ending that i didn't see coming but i also wasn't thinking about it either. the killer was the only character i liked which is just really surprising they went that route and that isn't a complaint either by the way. one of the reviewers on IMDB as i posted elswhere about the film bitched about the lack of gore.

that wasn't an issue for me because as much as i love a good horror film with gore it doesn't matter to me if there's gore in it or not. as i also said on another Site Halloween had barely any and that's a masterpiece. and the curtains opening between some of the scenes was a great little thing they added. but for those who like it to each their own i guess.

Later this year dreamworks will have "trolls" in the Cinema. An animation film based on that Troll doll from the 80s.


The most obvious movies Brad could do in that context is Trolls 1 and 2. But havent he already covered those?

But anyway, there is also another path he can go, and that is this VHS muscal troll-doll thing "The Trollies Radio Sing-A-Long".

'Blood Diner' was just released on Blu-Ray and I would love nothing more than to see it Snobbed. I think it must be harder to riff on comedies, but there's still plenty of material to work with.

I'm asking since I have never seen the older movie.
But at least I see now via Letterboxd that Mathew Buck has rated it 1.5 stars out of 5. So at least it doesn't sound that high in quality.

he already did the 1st Leprechaun film in a crossover a few years back so he doesn't need to do it again. i've been watching his old ones and i watched his 100th episode the other night and i miss seeing him with Hair. yeah i know he's balding but my way of looking at it is enjoy it while you still have it. that's my motto anyways. i'd love him to another Elm Street film to be honest he hasn't done one in quite awhile.

According to the list, it's the last one in the series. Well, part 6 anyway, I think there's a seventh now.

I should probably re-watch them myself at some point - I remember the "Hood" sequels at least being entertainingly bad, but I think part 4 was just really, really, really fucking bad. Meanwhile, I remember jack shit of parts 2 and 3.

of the sequels i remember the Vegas one i forget what part that is, that's meh and the other part i can't remember if i saw or not. the vegas one was that part 2 or 3? i remember when Part 2 came out here in Ohio back in what (1993) ? was it? whatever fuck year it came out in we had it for like 30 days or so, well actually i think it was even less than that, i remember seeing the tv spots all the time than it comes out and now that i think about it i'm wrong on the day, it felt like it was gone within less than a week at least around here. i have seen the one in space and that was pretty bad and the only ones i haven't seen that i am aware of are the hood ones and what i have seen of them the bits and pieces they are really shitty.

my question is this, i love Warwick Davis for me it started with Willow, that's when i 1st heard of him when that film came out, but i also love him as Wickett as well. the Ewoks i still like in star wars, i'm not saying they were needed in the series but for me i'm not that much of a Jedi fan and for me that's the only good thing about that film since Jedi really bores me to death. i fell asleep when i went and saw it i was 4 or 5 at the and the film still has that affect on me. my question sorry for going off topic a second is this, why in the same hell did he keep saying yes to doing those films?

Warwick has never been an A List actor by any means, but he has done a shit ton of A List films not just the Star Wars films or the Harry Potter films. why would he even want to do another one of those films anyways ? one of them was Enough and it's an okay film but that's about as nice as i can put it.

that's good argument but he got Top Billing is better films too. hell John Carradine got top billing in a lot of films too and that wasn't always because he had a good part in it or hell even a big part just a cameo. it was just cause of his name so having top billing doesn't always mean anything. and i believe Brad does look at these boards and has used quite a bit of these suggestions too. there is no doubt the list of films he wants to do is prolly longer than the length of a football field lol

having said that here's something that you all will get a kick out of i think, i was watching one of his old reviews of Don't go near the park. from like 9 years ago last nite or the nite before,  and granted he does his research i'm sure before he says something about an actor.

but what i'm referring to is a dude named Crackers Phinn in it he says he only made one film. he was wrong  i looked him up just for shits and giggles as we say in my family. and look up Robert Gribbon on IMDB and you will see he did more than one thing. shit he even did an episode of fucking Dallas. IMDB says don't go near the park came out in (1979) but that film screamed early 80's to me. anyways check it out Brad that way you can do more Crackers Phinn films at some point

IDMB also states the guy is now dead. (1951-2010) 2 days before he turned 59 if you can believe that.

it's just sad that nobody posts on here anymore and if they do it's not very often. anyways i watched a film that would bore you death Brad. and it's not as boring as some of the shit you watched in the past. anyways it's called Space Probe Taurus. from (1965) personally i think it's well directed

and well acted. but the film is just plain fucking boring. it also has footage from another film i forget which one though it's perfect for ya brad. i will say that it's not a painful film to watch like Nukie for example. it's just plain boring that's all

well i hope you are doing better man. i do come on here quite a bit actually but i don't always post cause nobody else does which is just sad i think.

i just got done watching a film that is ripe for Snobbing more than one actually. 1. The Trip from (1967) written by Jack Nicholson i believe brad has seen it cause he's talked about in the past i think. another one that came out a year later is called 'Psych-Out' and it's a pretty wild film that Jack Nichoslson also wrote as well but he didn't get credit on it this time around. it was a better film i think than the Trip another one i watched was called 'Journey to the Seventh Planet' and old one from (1962) i've been in the mood for 60's films as of late.

that one had some nice ideas but the script was pretty awful. having said all that i hope you are doing well man. as of yesterday i've been sick with what i dunno i sure hope it's not that flu that's going around that about killed Brad and the gang in a manner of speaking.

I haven't seen Brad do any porno reviews in over a year. That site hasn't been the same without one.
