Harmony Korine

I think Korine is unique voice for good or for bad I cant decide to me as a British man he strikes me as the American Guy Ritchie in that I cant decide whether I like his stuff or not. With Ritchie I reached the conclusion when hes reigned in hes really good like in the Sherlock Holmes movies which I really like. Korine I think needs equally reigning in but I think Springbreakers is his best work. THough I do have an affection for a filmmaker who makes self reflecting works when many directors don't make those types of films.

I personally think he's unbearably pretentious and self-indulgent. I haven't seen 'Spring Breakers', but I drew the line at 'Mister Lonely' and couldn't even finish 'Trash Humpers'. Now, I'm a fan of filmmakers like Herzog, Cassavetes, Fassbinder and others that he takes influence from, but I think his work is just trash.

I've seen Spring Brakers. I liked it. But I already commented on Trash Humpers. You should just watch it because it's an epic train wreak. And not in a good campy kind of way. That movie not only fell off the rails but rammed into a bus of school kids then into an oil refinery.

Had to google the name honestly...Saw Kids and Ken Park in my teens and thought they were alright. Spring Breakers is sitting on my HDD for quite some time now...just haven't got around to actually watch it.

ive seen Gummo and Ken Park and though both sucked Will ferrel level. Korine and Clark are hacks!!!!!!

Gummo is one of my favorite movies. Trash Humpers was one of the worst movies of 2009 or 2010 or whenever the fuck it actually came out.

I dug "Kids" for being absolutely insane back in the day...
