Hollywood has a very long history of making movies with excessive levels of violence in them.
From Sam Peckinpah's "The Wild Bunch" to Oliver Stone's "Natural Born Killers" & Quentin Tarantino's "Django Unchained".
However, since the tragic mass shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, Hollywood began to change their minds.
The world premier of "Django Unchained" was postponed which happened to be on December 11th (the day of the shootings).
And Jim Carrey regretted being in "Kick-Ass 2" because of the violence (Brad & Josh mentioned this on the episode of Radiodrome).
What are your thoughts about how Hollywood feels?

I think if Hollywood actually gave a fuck about the rest of America there would be a hell of a lot less children living in poverty, and no more $200,000,000.00+ budgeted Lone Ranger movies.

I think that Team America is the most poignant film ever to deal with the relationship between the entertainment industry and politics.

And I think if you value the opinion of a man who was in a film called Mr. Popper's Penguins, you need to be forcibly sterilized.
