Even though I don't watch much anime I can't be the only one who likes Mad Bull 34? It seems that with die hards this is one they all hate but I don't get it.

It's so over the top and ultra violent that I can't help but like it. I personally think that if Mad Bull 34 were a live action movie done in the '70s or '80s, it would be a beloved cult classic/grind house/b-movie fave.

I could see Cannon all over this.

That's the point for me. IMO. I look at it as a parody. It's what happens if The Naked Gun were NC-17 and taken it's self a slight more seriously. It's so over the top with violence, sex and the horrible New York accents that it had to be a Jappanese parody of what they thought tough New York cops went though in the Mid-80s.

I just finished the first episode on youtube and i really enjoyed this. The english dub wasn't half bad and it's so over the top that it's great. I'll definitely check out the next episodes in the future.

Madbull is both thoroughly entertaining but at the same time atrocious.

Another similar movie in my opinion would be M.D Geist
