Casting the next Batman reboot.

It's gonna happen eventually. Personally, I'd like to see them take the tone of the Animated Series; dark and gritty, but willing to be a little campy once in a while.

Anyway, here's my cast:

Batman: Ryan Gosling. Watch Drive and tell me he isn't perfect for this part, especially the scene where he kills Ron Perlman. Anyway who can scare the shit out of Ron Freaking Perlman like that can definitely pull off Batman.

Robin: Josh Hutcherson. Let's just forget Chris O'Donnell ever happened, shall we?

The Joker: Nick Stahl. Watch his performance in Sin City.

Alfred: Pierce Brosnan. You know a former James Bond has to play Alfred eventually.

Commissioner Gordon: Neal McDonough.

Barbara Gordon: Jacqueline Emerson.

Selena Kyle: Danielle Harris. She could be there in the beginning, without necessarily becoming Catwoman in the first movie. That said, I totally wanna see her play Catwoman!

Harvey Dent: Colin Hanks. Watch Season 6 of Dexter! And, again, he doesn't have to become Two-Face right away.

Renee Montoya: Michelle Rodriguez.

Harvey Bullock: Ethan Suplee.

Rupert Thorne: Oliver Platt.

Leslie Tompkins: Emma Thompson.

Lucius Fox: Tim Russ.

Some of the villains not mentioned yet:

The Penguin: Toby Jones.

The Riddler: Zachary Quinto. Not the spastic Frank Gorshin version, or the even more spastic Jim Carrey version, but the awesome John Glover version is what I'd like to see emulated.

Bane: Javier Bardem. Like they should've done in Rises!

Poison Ivy: Alicia Witt.

The Mad Hatter: Crispin Glover.

Harley Quinn: Zooey Deschanel.

Mr. Zsasz: Ben Foster.

Dr. Hugo Strange: Jeffrey Combs.

Seriously though, I think Cage could pull that off. But people would still find it hard taking him seriously. Daniel Day-Lewis would also fit that part well IMO.

Well, it's not that far-fetched. Christopher Reeve is dead, and some people seem to think they should bring him back as Superman.

You know if they ever did a Batman reboot, why not go for broke and do something different?

Make a Batman Beyond movie. Or the Dark Night Returns.

Something with Spider Man. Instead of the reboot we got, why not make a movie based on Spider Man 2099.

I know it's wishful thinking that anyone would see them. But I would.
