"Evil Dead" Remake

I'm getting all set for the "Evil Dead" remake tomorrow.
In the meantime, I'm now watching the original 1981 version.

im seeing it tomorrow at five with my friend. looks acutally pretty good

I don't plan on seeing it in theaters, but it looks worth a rental.

Saw the movie last night with some friends.

One word: Yeeech.

The movie was exactly what I predicted it would be in another thread on this board, just disgusting and gross for the sake of being disgusting and gross. Not scary, doesn't hold a candle to the original.

Though it looks like, judging from it's Friday night box office, it's gonna make a shit ton of money.

i want to see it but i don't expect it to be anywhere near as good as the orignal film i'd be an idiot to expect to hold any kind of candle to it.

I wonder if Brad will also do a Snob episode of the original "Evil Dead" the same way he did with the original "Texas Chainsaw Massacre".

I acutally enjoyed the film. No where near as good as the oringals but i still had fun with it. i like how there was very little CGI. i also enjoy how the film doesnt take itself seriously and i like the MIA character. im more excited for Army of Darkness two though.

I prob watch when it comes out on netflix. Bit of a skeptic scene it's a remake.
