Roger Corman's The Intruder, starring William Shatner

This would be kind of a hard one to do, maybe. But if you've ever wanted to see William Shatner drive around in a white Cadillac with Klansmen and later see a large wooden cross set on fire and, well, see all the other things that go along with that happen, then this is the movie for you to be extremely uncomfortable about, unless you are from a sundown town in the panhandle of Texas, since then it's just another Wednesday night at the local Allsup's.

Brad's mentioned this film as one of his favorites many times. I've yet to get around to seeing it; I need to rectify that, pronto.

Its actaully a really good movie, and is it me or does William Shanter just have abunch of strange and awesome movies starting with I. Theres Intruder,Incubus, and Impulse

i downloaded this a couple years back but i have yet to actually watch it. it's odd that this was the only film that i think ever got to Cannes when it was 1st around back than. it didn't win. but i forget the trivia on that. i think it did get nominated though. and it's i think Roger Corman's favorite film of his.

it may be a hard movie to watch cause of the content. but that's how it was back than. and from my understanding i believe it was a hard as fuck film to film because of the content and where it was shot too. i believe they were getting death threats during the making of it if i'm not mistaken.


it's also the only movie that Roger Corman did that Lost Money! it was a bomb a huge bomb and it's sad really.
he's done a LOT of shitty movies but even they made good money. but he's said that of all the ones that he's ever done
"The Intruder' was his only flop.

i believe it's also "Shatner's 1st starring role as well. made even before his "Twilight Zone' episodes i believe.

Isnt Incubus his first staring role? u know the film shot completely in esperonto?

no it's not. that came out i believe in (1965) well IMDB i looked it says (1966) but in the trivla says it was made a year before "Star Trek' so that would mean it was made in (1965) "The Intruder' was made


IMDB again says (1962) but it used to say (1961) so it's either one of those dates.
