PostSubject: Cinema Snob's Public Domain Month DVD   Mon Feb 25, 2013 5:45 am

I can't post the link, but in Brad's new CATCHING UP vdeo, he mentions a Cinema Snob DVD of Public Domain Month. I think that's awesome. Can't wait.

The Driller Killer
Star Odyessy
Werewolf in a Girls' Dormitory
Billy the Kid vs. Dracula
Jesse James Meets Frankenstein's Monster

I think DON'T OPEN TILL CHRISTMAS and SATAN'S SCHOOL FOR GIRLS are also public domain by the way.

Cool! Sadly I own all those movies (thanks, giant Mill Creek box sets). The Snob dvd would make a great companion piece.

The long awaited DVD of The Cinema Snob's Public Domain Month is coming this Friday, March 8th. The DVD contains all 5 episodes of Public Domain Month ("Driller Killer," "Werewolf in a Girls Dormitory," "Star Odyssey," "Billy the Kid VS Dracula," and "Jesse James Meets Frankenstein's Daughter"), audio commentary tracks on all episodes, the films' original movie trailers and clips, DVD exclusive episodes including Brad Tries Soylent Green, Brad Tries Beverly Soda, Flaming Brian's Kitchen: Firebrand Chili Challenge, plus a Bath Tub Q & A, and the Game Boys Animated Series Pilot, also with audio commentary. DVD is Region Free, ships anywhere in the world, and is $14.99. And most importantly, the DVD is Lloyd Approved.

Sounds good. He could've included more episodes though, because there are other public domain films he's reviewed, but maybe he's saving them for a second DVD.

Future DVD's will include more episodes, and with something like "Satan's School For Girls," I'd have to cut out so much copyrighted material in the episode, it would almost not be worth it. I'd rather not put it on DVD than edit it to shit.

That's true. Sad

But there's always time for another Public Domain month. Smile
