| well 1st of all Brad if i posted this in the wrong section you are more than welcome in putting it somewhere else man. i've been watching this great series as of late. and i'm now up to "Young At Heart'
from Season 1. i made a thread about it on here cause rather than talk about it on the Worst Movies of (2012) i said fuck it and made a thread about it so we can keep talking about the shitty movies from last year.
even though i haven't watched it yet. it's one of the better episodes from season 1. which in itself is a weak fucking season. compared to some of the later seasons. though not a terrible season by any means. it's a season where it feels to me like they were going through the motions and trying to figure out the show and what worked and what didn't.
in my own opinion it has more weak episodes than great episodes. but this is my own thoughts so to each their own as i always say.

| Ah the X-Files! One of my favorite series of all times.
I remember watching it when I was a teen, late on friday nights and always falling asleep hehe. Good times. I love the whole vibe of the show, the ambience, the grey skies, the ominous atmosphere and Scully of course! Who doesn't love Scully, the woman who gets sexier with age!
Me and my buddies have an inside joke with the number 42, sort of like it's the devil's number and sure enough, since we started this whole thing, it keeps popping in the oddest way and in the oddes places, fueling our theory. Well, one time I was watching the X-Files, I think it was season 3's finale and guess what I noticed? That the number to Mulder's apartment is, indeed, 42. One more to add to the list.
Long live the X-Files. | |

| i don't remember if that was a thing for the show or not, but i have a book on well 2 books that came out after the 2nd season and during the start of the 3rd season oddly. and the other one is the whole 4th season and it must have come out after that had aired. but before the film came out. the 1st film.
anyways they are both episode guides that tell shit behind the scnenes. the 1st book tells about the making of the show and so on. and how the password for one code is 1013 the company that we see at the end of the credits.
my point is it's also cool when you see shit like that pop up as well. and never notice it until either you read about it or someomne points it out to you

| X-Files was one of those shows I would catch an episode or two of every so often, like it and would want to watch more, but never got a chance to watch it religiously. | |

| Oh and I forgot to mention the score by, I think that's his name, Mark Snow. It's mostly synth based and it's pretty basic I guess, but it manages to convey a specific mood that's perfect for the series I think. A bit like the one for Twin Peaks by Angelo Badalamenti.

| i agree on the score for both shows. though nothing beats D.D. playing he he Denise in "Twin Peaks' have fun saying that to friends and they will give you what the fuck are you talking about looks? it's fun as hell. i'm up to "Toomis'
before i head off to bed for the night. that's my next one to watch. so i've got i think 4 or 5 episodes left of season 1.

| yes he is good on the show, he is really convincing as a drug addicted/ alcholic and sorry about my shitty spelling,
sex addict. he's a really fucked up character honestly. there's no other way to put it. another thing to put it for those who want to watch the show make damn sure no kids are around cause it is NOT for kids.

| Got the entire series and both movies, but never watched either of the spinoffs.
I won't hold my breath, but I still hope a third film is made.
