Is This The Snob's Influence To The Phrase "Shot On Shitteo"?

How many Cinema Snob episodes have we've watched when he says "Shot On Shitteo", my most favorite phrase in the entire series?
I think I have found a scene from the classic movie "Boogie Nights" with a scene talking the so-called "future of video tape".
Jack Horner played by Burt Reynolds says it best,
"If it looks like shit, and it sounds like shit, then it must be shit!"
In other words, "Shot On Shitteo".
Did the Snob get his influence from this scene?

i dunno if that's where brad got the term or not but it wouldn't surprise me if he did. shot on shitteo is a great term i think. hell i use it now when i see a film like some of the well shit he has reviewed on here.

or films i've seen that are shot like that. anyways as for 'Boogie Nights' i find it funny as hell that Burt Reynolds really was talked into doing that film. and he hated it afterworlds. yet he didn't expect it to be as huge as it was. nobody did i think. a decent film but no masterpiece.

ahhh one of my favorite films. He might have got it from this scene. He also could have just come up with it since its is an easy pun to make. i use it all the time to.

well before i found the site i had never heard the phrase before. but i do use it now.

I came up with the phrase back in 2007 when I started the show. Don't know what the inspiration was, I just kinda liked it. That Urban Dictionary entry was put up long after I created the phrase.

well there ya go and it fits a LOT of films as well. many of those have already been reviewed on here. and lord knows how many more are filmed that way. i've also seen plenty of them as well.
