| OK now that Suburban Knights is over with, what do you guys like to see for next year's anniversary movie? With a project as big as that, it's probably going to take Doug and crew longer to make the next one as big as this year's, so let's jump in and help him out.
Here's my pitch (and yes it's a rough idea that needs improvement if needed):
The Nostalgia Critic is missing! Without him, the site will be thrown in chaos. Other critics will fight for the position as the site's lead critic but after some taunting between them, the critics finally come to their senses and must search for the Critic. However, they don't know where to start. Enter the world's #1 TGWTG fan from Witchita, Kansas who has an idea where to search for the Critic. He invites all the critics to his home and tells them that the only way to search for the Critic is to split up into multiple of teams of 2 or 3 and travel around the United States just to gain better search grounds. Also, the town of Witchita is a starting point because it's at the center of this great country and yes, I learned that from watching King Kung Fu.
The multiple searches will not only give each critic a chance to shine but also give them each different story arcs to compliment the plot. The AVGN may have a bigger role in this if possible. Still, this is the best I can come up with. But if some of you guys still like the murder mystery plot better, that's fine with me.

| I'd like to see the gang do a murder mystery comedy in the vein of Clue. | |

Like I said, if you're still into that idea, I'm fine with that as long as it's well-written!

| Well, it wouldn't be up to me to write it, it would be up to Dough. | |

Why am I finding that typo strangely hilarious? Anyway, a murder mystery sounds fine indeed. Although it would have to be done right, or at least enjoyable. I am afraid that there would be again jokes that run too long or are too painful, however if done well it could be a good movie. So in other words, just get Brad to write it. He is after all, the horror guy.(Oh and Phelous too..)

| What sort of movies work with lots of characters? A sports movie? Road Trip? High School? It'd be nice to see Doug pass on the leading role to someone else for a change. | |

Actually a Road Trip movie is much more appropriate depending on the site's budget!

| Doug's fine in a leading role ain't he? But I wouldn't be averse to him handing over the writing to all the other guys now and then. It's probably really hard to write, act, direct and all that stuff on your own and I think it showed this year.
A murder mystery sounds pretty funny on paper. We could have zombies, blacksploitation and Cluedo: a match made in heaven!

The NC character isn't the most likable of characters and I'm not sure there's really anything else he can do with him. Kickassia had him in a full on role, SK it was toned down but still stealing several moments for himself. Either come up with an original character to take the starring role or hand it on to a different person and explore their character for a bit. There's a lot to work with and it helps keep things fresh.

| If there was a murder-mystery-horror about who killed the Critic, then he could appear in a series of increasingly far fetched flashbacks while letting the rest of the cast play out the main story. Then they all get killed off, one by one...
Or perhaps thats just an excuse for another sarcastic Phelous death scene. I'm sure the Snob could come up with affew witty putdowns before the axe wielding nutter smashed his brains out, hehe.
I'm not sure what the ending would be. Maybe Ma-ti as the psychotic murderer -- this way the Critic could still be there in a lesser fashion, with Chester A Bum, the Ask guy and so on would be filling in some screen time or something.
I just like the idea of different TGWTG characters giving their deranged version of events during a flashback. Maybe Tommy Wiseau could be the killer, LOL.

| But... but... you could confuse them all with bizarre and awkwardly inappropriate romantic montages, then kill off a few members with a football while wearing a suit! | |

| Hmm... several cheesy love scenes with Nostalgia Chick, and killing off Film Brain? Allow me to reconsider... | |

| Id like it to be a Clue-type movie or a :"who pooped the bed" type deal.
For example, heres a brief story outline I just came up with:
The Last Angry Geek is found dead. Who did it?
The Distressed Watcher, Brad, and Linkaria could do something zany.
Have JewWario as Col. Mustard (yellow - get it?)
OR it could be a MUSICAL!

| Oh how about this
The Disappearance of The Nostalgia Critic.
In planning for the private Fourth Anniversary Event, the Nostalgia Critic tells people to meet him at his house the next morning. The next Morning, say Angry Joe (Brad would be more Hardcore), arrives to The NC's house and finds it owned by another person (Spoony) and they have taken up the role of the Nostalgia Critic. They don't recognize the lead, and the lead is the only person who notices the difference. The lead goes to everyone's house and none recognizes him, eventually bumping into himself who is a Parents Basement dwelling Hikkomori. The lead is instructed by the "Voice of the Ancient World" to gather 12 items used to construct a time machine and can kill the entity who caused the timeline shift by killing the Nostalgia Critic's Great-Grandfather, the Culprit being "The Evil Counsel of Elders", headed by an evil genius named "La Chagueta" who can only fight in still frames. The lead fights La Chaqueta, and sets the timeline right.

| My idea is that the critics go into space and try to find and reconcile with Ma-Ti, essentially also creating a film like Suburban Knights except it will be sci-fi instead of fantasy. | |

| They should do a silent movie.... or a porn. Or a silent porn, in the dark.... that should have a massive budget. | |
