he's since talked about this. i guess he saw your post. and he was right actually on how we shouldn't digtize everything!

they should stay like it is now in short.

I just think film looks better than digital. If I had the resources, I'd totally invest in a personal collection of 35mm prints.

oh i 100% agree it does look better, one thing i wish they hadn't done is make films use say letterboxing in all fims.

though i love watching a film letterboxed and that's the ONLY way i watch a film if it's avaliable. how many films out there will never be remastered to be letterboxed? the ONLY reason that was pretty much invented was cause tv was taking over at the time. and they wanted a gimmick to bring people back to the movies. and it kind of worked and it kind of didn't i say it kinda didn't cause more people got tv's as time went on.

but either way people went to the movies regardless. my brother has a 16mm projector and a shitload of films. and it's great. he dosn't have the money for a 35mm projector though those fuckers run into the thousands just to rent one!

or buy one. he's married with kids. and even before that he still couldn't afford one of those!
