| This movie seems to be right up your alley its really bad, it's cautionary, and semi-pornographic. The bad effects and terrible plot are hilariously bad. In a nutshell, the whole movie is about a school near a nuclear power plant where some kids are selling weed that has been grown near the reactors. and the people who use it start having weird symptoms. Not only does this movie try to scare people away from marijuana and nuclear power, but it also tries to knock on sex before marriage, underage drinking, and bullying. This entire movie is a PSA gone wrong. I would suggest it solely to riff on it's messages. | |

| I think my avatar is an answer to whether or not I like the film. I personally consider 'Nuke 'em High' to be just as good as the original 'Toxic Avenger'. I actually prefer it to 'Toxie', but then again, I'm not altogether bright. I can't see it being featured on the Snob at all, nor could I any Lloyd Kaufman-directed features ('Tromeo' being an acceptable exception). Too "mainstream", I'd guess. As for the sequels, I actually rank them among my favorite Troma films. I think they're better films than the 'Toxic Avenger' sequels, at least. They're not *good* movies, of course, but they create such a vividly unique universe and style that I can't help but appreciate them on a (low-brow) artistic level. Plus, how could you fault any film whose leading actor is named "Brick Bronsky"? That's a name almost ripped from the 'Space Mutiny' 'MST3k'. - wildhoney66 wrote:

If you hated the second one, you'll hate the third one. They were shot back-to-back with the same cast and crew and have the exact same tone and style.

| druff838,
This movie doesn't have any 'message'. It was done for laughs. It's not a cautionary tale at all, just entertainment. I guess the best comparison is, Troma's movies are like South Park. Well, I actually *like* Troma movies, but you get the idea.
