| After watching the latest Snob episode on Hitler: Dead or Alive, a lightbulb immediately came to me. What if the Snob start reviewing more movies from the 30s, 40s , and 50s? What do you guys think?
Honestly, I think it'll be a great idea because there are plenty of choices to pick from. I think the most notorious studio that he should go after would be Monogram. Sure that studio had plenty of films, serials, and all that, but even they're well known for their crappy quality.
For example, they got horror legend Bela Lugosi to star in crap-tacular horror films from the 1940s. I've seen some of them and I think the worst possible one for the Snob to review is Invisible Ghost. If you've seen it, you might've felt the same pain I went through.

| I'm kind of split. I love the earlier stuff so it would be fun to see the Snob's take on it, but somehow it just doesn't seem right. You mention Monogram, and boy did they put out a lot of shit, but still, it's charming shit. The hokey sets, the drunk/stoned out of their minds Bela Lugosis and John Carradines, the incompetent but "gosh-darn-it they're trying!" actors...somehow, it's all too good natured and cute for the Snob, unlike the ET porn, for example. "Cautionary" films like Reefer Madness and She Shoulda Said No! are right up the Snob's alley, though, and would be a perfect fit. The Conqueror, too. | |

| The Snob should do a movie with Hugo Stiglitz in it. How he's gone this long without doing a movie with him in it is beyond me.

| I don't know. It seems like my favorite snob reviews tend to be those of the sleazier titles, and back in the day, you could only get way with so much. | |

| Of course! I would love to see movies from those decades - for variety sake. I love all the horror and slasher movies the snob reviews, i just love it more when he reviews something far out and weird such as turkish star wars, italien star wars, italien bat man or that hitler movie he just reviewed. | |

| This was one of the most enjoyable Snob reviews I have seen in awhile. I really hope we get more of this.
A+
I'll have to find this film for my collection.

Reefer Madness would really be cool, but I don't there's a lot of stuff to review from back then, there weren't nearly as many exploitation films. Having one every once in a while would be cool though.

If he did a Karloff movie, my vote is for the trash masterpiece Snake People(1968/1971)

| I never really understood the point of a cut off date anyway.
This is probably a "no way in Hell" but has Brad ever commented on the notorious BIRTH OF A NATION (1915)? I haven't actually seen it, but I've read it's a racist film that comes off pro-KKK, but if Brad wanted to review a movie just to piss people off this would be the one.

It's alright, but a near 3 hour silent film, is a very hard sit for most people

| i'd love to him do it as well but it's to big of a picture. yes he's done a couple bigger films. but not many really. i haven't seen 'Birth of a nation' either but i have heard nothing but how good it is.
i haven't seen "Intolerence' either but if he did either film it'd have to be a 2 or even a 3 part episode. my guess he'd just make them 2. but if he did say "Greed" another silent from (1924) i haven't seen that one and i've heard nothing but how good that one is. that one if he did the long cut would have to be 3 or even 4 episodes cause that's a long fucking movie. maybe shorter depending on how long he made the episodes.
anyways. i'd love if he'd do more films from the silent era and in the 30-50's actually.
i know this isn't the request section but i got one i'd LOVE to see him do it's called "Chained For LIfe' from (1954) i forget what it's about at the moment look it up. but it's a B film and i think it's a public domain film too. i'm NOT 100% sure on that one though. it's bad and it's nobody that anyone in here has heard of. i believe that's the one where the conjoined twins from "Freaks' the masterpiece from (1932) are the stars. they are terrible in it. has anyone heard of it?

CHAINED FOR LIFE was one of the first ones I thought of too. REEFER MADNESS or *cringe* CHILD BRIDE could make good episodes. I can understand why Brad sticks to mostly 70s & 80s (and I love the grindhouse & 'shot on shitteo' eps), but there's plenty of sleazy exploitation that got made in the 30s - 50s available.

Wow, I can't believe I missed that; here I thought I'd seen everything in the OS. Well.....it was a good idea for an episode, anyway.
