I've been informed by TGWTG about US Congress deciding to vote for the "Stop Online Piracy Act" this month.
Will this bill put an end to "TGWTG" & "The Cinema Snob" for good?
Because I really don't want that to happen to one of my most favorite websites as well as my favorite film critic/Snob.
I've been currently working on my own web-based review series of my own and I don't want to suffer the same fate.
I understand that the bill is meant to "Stop Piracy", but does that include using film footage for an online review series?
The law now says that "the use of copyrighted footage for 'fair use' is legal".
If the Nostalgia Critic can win the battle against the makers of "The Room", than we can definitely win this battle as well.
I'm not sure what I'm telling is the truth or not, but I have the constitutional right to speak out whatever I feel.
Please share whatever thoughts you have with all fans of TGWTG & The Cinema Snob (including myself).
Peace Out!
