Like the other selections on DVD-R Hell, I've not actually seen this movie, but I'd have to agree that it looks really, really God damn sad. Even sadder because I don't feel that the end result is what any of the kid's elders were hoping for: they wanted...what's his name...I can't remember...anyways, the wanted the kid to put down his rock music, which he did, but they ended up alienating him from all his friends and his family, which I don't think even they hoped to happen. Everyone loses.

| I couldn't stand the kid, really and how everyone acted just ticked me off. You can make the same arguments for any genre that he made for rock music, even Classical music. Its just a fear mongering video (that I was shown as a kid). The riff of it (no pun intended) was pretty funny, I must say. |

| I thought the title referred to crack cocaine. I don't think this kid would handle a coke addiction very well based on this film.
Also, "Again we see MUSIC Causing BIG TROUBLE!" Why wasn't the Central Scrutinizer narrating this? Did the kid get a job at the Utility Muffin Research Kitchen after overcoming his addiction to rock music? |
