I know Brad's favorite show is Mystery Science Theater 3000, so I thought I might make this topic for anybody who's a fan of the show. I'm already beginning to be a nut for that show by watching many episodes on Netflix Instant and sometimes on Google Video and/or YouTube.

Can anybody list their favorite episodes from the show?

This is surprisingly easy for me.

Zombie Nightmare
Merlin's Shoppe of Mystical Wonders (And murder)
Mitchell
Manos
The Brain that Wouldn't Die
Space Mutiny
Teenage Strangler
Macbeth (Yes, I am probably the only person on this planet who enjoyed this episode).

There is a really awesome bar in Portland that every once in a while will host a MST3K night on big screen.

Ah man the memories.

The shorts collection will forever have a special place in my heart.

Now in order to keep this thread from getting to repetitive I ask: What are some of your favorite MST3K lines? You know the ones, the lines that have filtered down into your everyday speech.

For me:

"Tuesday is human sacrifice night at the Sizzler."
"I am the lemon zester of destruction."
"Who wants to be sacrificed?"

I love the show but my biggest problem with the show are the fans that it produced. I hate going to film screenings of B-films/exploitation films and you have some jackass and his friends thinking it's cool to talk back to the screen as if they were some wannabe MST3K guys. It's not funny, it's annoying. I know that Grindhouse audiences back in the heyday could get rowdy but these hipster doffuses these days completely missed the point.

I still love the show though.

Agreed. If you want to riff on the movie do it properly, with wit and a microphone at home.

Yeah me and my friends have riff parties together atmy friendshouse. Remeber last time riffing dragonball the magic begins. It can be really funny but at times we have the one friend is is making the same repative joke the whole time or just makes awful puns out of the dialogue
