| Maybe not, but perhaps they'd actually get views from us if they acted more personal. | |

| Watch me complete the last levels in Shatter! Warning spoilers ahead! Click Here for the ReviewShatter delivers on every aspect you’d expect from a downloadable content game: it’s fast, addictive, and most importantly, fun. But before I give my final thoughts I think I should explain how I came into this game in the first place. I originally purchased this game in January 2011 at 50% off ($5.00 Canadian) at the PSN Store. Several games were half off during this period and it wasn’t hard to see a pattern between them (Shatter, Pac-Man Championship Edition, Space Invaders Extreme, etc.). However, Shatter is a game I’d wanted to play for a long time and it did not disappoint. I’d always been a fan of Breakout, back when I was a small child playing on my father’s Atari 2600. Playing Shatter brings with it a type of recaptured nostalgia from my childhood but there are other elements at work here that makes this much more than another simple Breakout clone. Visually this game is a masterpiece against the backdrop of kaleidoscopic backgrounds and ambient trance music playing during actual gameplay. What first attracted me to this game was the ability to suck and blow the ball at the player’s whim. Had this single feature been absent from the game it would’ve made the game increasingly more difficult. Similarly, there are over half-a-dozen different blocks each with their own methods and attributes. The player’s paddle shield, in addition to the ability to suck/blow the ball, makes the difficulty much more fair and equalized, having the ability to knock off incoming blocks without dying. Despite this, more often than not I found myself in countless precarious situations, dodging wayward blocks headed towards me in a vain attempt to avoid getting killed. As a result this game, believe it or not, requires a strategy to complete, and the addition of bosses after each world doesn’t make this task any easier. I’ve probably gone at length saying more than needs to say about this game. Bottom line, if you want a nice, relaxing game with an easy learning curve and tons of replay value, than Shatter is definitely a game you should check out. | |

| A lot of let's players post on multiple site simultaneously to increase their viewership. I'm betting he posts this on a dozen other sites and just forgets about them.
Why do some LPers assume we want to see them sitting on a couch while playing a game? Just show us the gameplay footage and record a voice over for it! | |

| I think if 1001Games posted here just being himself, without any advertising, I might watch one of his videos. | |
