| Rock Band drums are, sadly, my greatest skill. | |

I got Dance Central for Kinect recently. Blows Just Dance out of the water.

| See, I wanna like the kinect, but I've heard mixed stories about it, some saying it's good, some saying it's not very responsive at times. | |

| It seems really dependent on the game you're playing. Dance Central for instance I've had no problems with at all.
Anywho, anyone have Rockband 3?

Yeah, pro drummer here. What DLC do you have in general? I'm assuming you've imported from RB1 and 2 already.

| Cool. My DLC is pretty random, but I mostly play The Who, Jimi Hendrix, and Megadeth.
Add me (gamertag is thediscostud). Afraid my mic isn't working right now though.

| I was huge into the Rock Band games. Then Street Fighter 4 came out and I haven't played as much Rock Band as I used to. My friend is still really big into them, though. He recently bought this. | |

That's pretty close to my setup, I just don't have the upgraded kick pedal, drum brain, or drum skins. I have better cymbals though (full circle shape).

| I used to play Rock Band a lot, but I've been doing it a lot less lately, but I still play a few songs every week or two. Those games did introduce me to a lot of the music I listen to, including my favorite band, The Grateful Dead. | |

| That's what I love about RBN, difficultysploitation songs like those. Now with keys! | |

| I can't wait till RBN can do Pro guitar. It'll be like looking at Matrix code. | |

| I was SO close to enjoying the rhythm games. Until Rock Band 3's setlist came out. And Guitar Hero 5's.
All of this time, the one thing I've thought is "they've GOT the gameplay down, all I want is some songs that are GOOD! Songs by Opeth and Death and King Diamond and Strapping Young Lad! THAT WOULD BE AWESOME".
And what do I get instead? A ton of already super popular songs that are mostly off of previous rhythm games, and new instruments? What's this crap? Where's the metal!
Rock Band 2 blew me away with it's attention to good music, and the downloads, some of them were amazing. Now? It's so crappy that I'm not even willing to fix up my broken rock band drum kit.
So I've given up. If I want to play Death, I'll pick up a REAL guitar and actually play Death. But the drums, I still hope that they'll release decent tracks so that I can play Rock Band drums again. That was what really kept me interested.

| Dude, you need to start paying attention. There is a metric fuckload of metal in those games. Ziltoid the Omniescent just came out on RBN and Warriors of Rock has a stupid amount of metal in it. | |

Where did you get this info? Normally DLC isn't announced until Friday.

Ziltoid's good, but I'm more of an SYL fan than a Devin Townsend fan. Without Gene Hoglan on drums, it just doesn't feel right to me. I would much prefer to be playing "Alien" or "City". That would be great. I actually have a VERY butchered drum kit, and since drums would pretty much be all I would play, it wouldn't be worth it unless they got specific enough as to include some Opeth or SYL albums.

Where did you get this info? Normally DLC isn't announced until Friday. Occasionally for big stuff they announce it early. This actually got leaked, first by one of the laid off QA testers but then a screen shot of the pack leaked.
