I thought it was time that I would open an own fanart thread.

I have done one fanart of the Snob (Click here ) but that was just a part of my Suburban Knights fanart.
Now I wanna create more snobby fanarts also because I finally got more time for drawing and painting again.

So let's begin with this:

full resolution on DeviantArt

I had a lot of fun painting this and I'm quite happy with the result. Smile

The heart-shaped picture frame with Dyanne Thorne's pic is a nice touch Smile

I really dig the style. What is that, watercolors?

Thank you all for your comments Smile

@Skibz: Yes, that's water colours. First I drew everything in advance with a pencil, then pretty much painted over it. I have done other paintings this way and it's very much fun.

Line work is nice. The problem a lot of people have with this medium is that the pencil rough usually shines through the paint like a beacon. You did it very well, I can't paint watercolors to save my life... I usually always get the water mixture wrong and get extremely flat neutral color and not enough saturation.

I somehow forgot that I did a semi-Snob fanart once, almost two years ago.

It was an idea about combining the then-current review "Babes in Toyland" by Doug Walker and the review "Alice the X-Rated Musical" by Brad. It circles around the Humpty Dumpty character and Alice.
It was a quick drawing, nothing very beautiful or special, but I hope it can even give you a smile Wink

Actually I thought it was funny. I'd say you got both of their appearances down right.

I actually wanted to do a Team Snob fanart so badly but because of some problems (Jake leaving the team, my own lack of time and lust for making art) this was delayed. But I want to make this!

Instead here's a little, silly Cinema Snob/Ilsa resp. Dyanne Thorne mixed media fanart:

Ilsa: So, Snob, do you like my work?
Snob: Yes, Kommandant!

Not much new stuff, however, at least referencing some newer stuff by Brad:

My fanart when the first "Lloyd" episode came out:

My latest quick pencil drawing for Brad's birthday (referencing one of my recent favourite Snob reviews):

I hope you like it Smile Personally I'm quite satisfied with the results even though I wish I had more time for the birthday drawing.

EDIT:

Inspired by the latest Disney movie "Zootopia" and the fact that Jason Bateman from "How can I tell if I'm really in love?" (reviewed by Brad once) is now voicing one of the heroes in "Zootopia". Hey, to me these are the only two productions I've seen with Bateman in it.
It's just a rough sketch, I hope you don't mind. I've been very busy and I still am.
