The most interesting part is that I've never seen such a major corporation being brought to its knees like this. I shall grab my popcorn and see how the situation plays out.

Now theaters are getting terrorist threats for showing this movie. I didn't really consider with any seriousness for North Korea to be involved in this at any point but now it almost starts to seem plausible.

Before there was "The Interview", there was "Team America: World Police".

I guess all this suggests is Kim Jon-Il was a teddy bear compared to his irate son. Isn’t that a comforting thought?

Kim Jong-Un is a fat-ass idiot who thinks he's running a world class military superpower. North Korea would collapse in a day without China's assistance.
I just thought of an interesting conspiracy theory. What if the US government is behind it all and they're trying to frame North Korea?

Yeah, when this first started I was convinced it was some idiotic publicity stunt that SONY itself had orchestrated. But now... It's baffling. I know Kim Jong-Un is violent and crazy, but how can North Korea as a whole be that viable a threat?

First: There are still theaters that screen "Team America"?
Back to topic: This sucks. I'm convinced that the North Korean government is behind this (I wouldn't wonder if they took kidnapped South Korean IT specialists to hack the thing). They only showed that they were hit on a sore spot by a simple satire movie. And more, I guess more People now are interested in watching this movie.
It's kinda predictable that Fat Jong Un wouldn't be amused by such a production. But it sucks that Hollywood bows down to that just like this. I read that George Clooney started a petition in order to make the screenings possible again. No matter if the movie is great or just okay or even bad, it's a good idea.
In the end I'm also surprised that the NK government would be pissed off that much about this fictional movie but not be that openly threatning about other films and documentations shown to the public like "Camp 14: Total Control Zone" or John Sweeney's BBC Panorama report about visiting North Korea (with unauthorized photos and filmings).

They were showing Team America for its 10 year anniversary. I'm still skeptical about NK:s involvement in this, it seems more like something 4chan/anonymous would do. Ok, not at this point anymore, no.
Sony is now planning to release the film online, which I think at this point is the least they should do.
