Nothing conveys horror like assigning your 9-year-old nephew to do the artwork with colored pencils. Not even Crayola colored pencils, from the look of it, but the lame Rose Art cheapsticks.

I actually would prefer most of those over most of the generic photoshoped box-art you find at the cheap DVD-shelf.
These box arts are ugly, but they have spirit. You can actually look at them and get a reaction. Most photoshoped DVD-box-art of today, with lots of stock-images, mostly provokes a "meh" out of me.

All these, which you have collected, i find awesome and ugly at the same time.

SHOCKWAVES and FROZEN TERROR are both quite good. I own FROZEN TERROR on DVD under it's original title "Macabre" it is a pretty disturbing movie, and is apparently based on a real life event. It's a double feature DVD with A BLADE IN THE DARK, which I think is a better film, but MACABRE gets more praise.
