Does the Gothenburg Opera's Die Walküre count?

He's very fond of referring t the audience as "fuckers". But I swear, his voice hasn't aged a day since 1970. Seeing the song Black Sabbath performed...possibly the most powerful experience I've ever had with a piece of music.
And then last night I caught a surprise Andrew W.K. solo show. It was about a two-and-a-half hour drive to get the the town he was playing in. Worth it.

Yeah...Sabbath is my favorite metal band, which would make them a strong contender for favorite musical act of all time. SO seeing almost the complete original line-up perform live...no way I'm passing that up.

Guess what:
Yeah, it was Roger Waters' "The Wall", live in Zurich, last September.
But I admit, I was never really a concert goer. Before that I saw a couple of smaller performances and concerts but never in a big dimension. "The Wall" was an exception. I simply wanted to see this, had the money, didn't live far away from this and then I stood there, in the very front and saw my best live show so far (to one of my favourite music albums ever). I was definitely not disappointed.

Well, I've been to several punk and metal concerts (Rise Against, Eluveitie/Sabaton/some folk metal combo) and since I am 175 cm tall my back hurt as hell, so these sucked for me, even though the bands were ok.
Then I've started to heavily indulge in hip-hop and goddamn these concerts blow me away. Probably the greatest live performance I have ever seen was by the horrorcore duo Sodoma Gomora. Imagine an underground club filled with metalheads and hiphoppers, all under a very tiny stage half moshing half dancing. It was glorious.

Not on the list there was Andrew W.K.
We went to see the red boxed.
The band I really wanted to see was Less Than Jake, got pretty close to the stage for them too.
That aside I've seen Caravan Palace twice at the House of Blues in Chicago
I'm really kind of surprised how many punk rockers Brad has as fans.
