PostSubject: Good ol' Arnold   Fri Jan 31, 2014 3:02 am

I started to make a list of my top 10 favorite Schwarzenegger movies only to realize that I've only seen 10 of his movies in total  Very Happy  And they were relatively easy to put in order: (from best to worst)

The good ones:

Terminator 2
Terminator
Total Recall
Predator
The Running Man
Commando
Conan the Barbarian

The not so good ones:

Terminator 3 (This one's just mediocre)
Batman & Robin (Not really an arnold movie but he has big enough part in it. For me this one actually kind of works as a comedy even though it sucks as a batman movie)
Hercules in New York (Oh man this was just painful to sit through. I was expecting it to be campy and funny but it was just BORING. Highlight of the movie is Arnold fighting a bear in a park.)

I'm gonna need to have an Arnold marathon soon..

Watched Escape Plan today. The plot was ridiculous, but all in all it was a pretty fun flick. Arnold and Stallone really don't look like they're almost 70 years old Very Happy And i have to give extra points for the kick-ass theme music!

I actually have seen The Expendables (which was meh) and Around the world in 80 days (which I remember nothing about) but both had Arnold essentially in a cameo role so I didn't include them in my list.

Just watched True Lies and The Expendables 2 back to back, I have to say they were both pretty awesome Very Happy Although the references in Expendables got so corny and stupid that half the time I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. Like -Bruce Willis to Arnold: "You've been back enough, now I'll be back!" -Arnold to Willis: "Yippee-ki-yay..."  But yeah, it was still very enjoyable. This really was the movie I expected the first one to be, whereas the first one was just bland and generic.

As for true lies, there was Arnold on a horseback chasing a terrorist riding a motorcycle through a hotel building. Do we even need more?
