I always wondered, but It just kinda dawned on me. Even guys like Sponny, The Critic, The Nerd, do they make money of their websites? Is this like a real fucking job for them or it is just like a hobby?

I know that the Nerd has a day job, hence why his videos come out fairly infrequently.

It's from ad revenue. Hence why Brad doesn't like people using AD-blocker on his website, because you are robbing him of his money.

I would absolutely believe Brad does radio, his voice would be perfect as the wacky morning radio host.

They make money off of ad revenue from Blip and their website. A lot of them have donation boxes as well, though as LordKat says that's a misnomer. No one on TGWTG is a charity, they are businesses. You can't file them as charity on your taxes.

I can't speak for Brad but I know Doug is earning close to a six figure salary through advertising revenue, donations, etc. from TGWTG.com, he's living the dream.

A combination of merchandise, revenue from ad's yo rent on your site, and revenue from ads blip put before your vids, because apparently, blip'll pay you for that.

Maybe I've misheard him, but Brad has said in a few of his videos that he works at home. Would his job then be something to do with TGWTG or his website?

i have heard mention before that he used to be a radio Dj.

i work in radio, and it's not as easy as people thinks, whether you have the voice or not.

i make a good living at it, and also work from home providing my voice to various Radio Tv ads.
