...Well maybe it is. But it also reminds me a lot of this old USA Network TV show Good Vs. Evil. It kind of has the same plot. But unlike RIPD, the guys in GVE do not have powers or are invulnerable.

Honestly, from watching the RIPD trailers and TV Spots.....I'm really not impressed.

Jeff Bridges comes off as a bit of a bad ass, yeah, but other then that, it's just very "meh" to me...

For all I know, the movie could very well prove me wrong and be fun.

But my first impressions of it from the trailers aren't very good atm.

once the reviews come in for the opening, it'll help me decide more if i'll see it in theaters or wait till DVD, or just not at all.
